Notice of application for a licence to abstract water
Take notice that Simon Geoffrey Whiteman, of 6 Eardiston House, Eardiston, near Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from the River Teme at National Grid References SO 6878 6809 and SO 6926 6785 at Eardiston, near Tenbury Wells, Worcester. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 27.2 cubic metres per hour, 328 cubic metres per day, 10,520 cubic metres per year, between April and October each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at 6 Eardiston House, Eardiston, near Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire, between 12th June and 12 July 1998. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Hafren House, Welshpool Road, Shelton, Shrewsbury SY3 8BB, before the end of the said period.
