Notice of application for a licence to obstruct or impede the flow of an inland water by means of impounding works
Take notice that ECC International Ltd., John Keay House, of St. Austell, Cornwall PL25 4DJ, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to obstruct or impede the flow of the Wotter Brook at National Grid References SX 5612 6122 and SX 5635 6112 at Lee Moor, near Plympton, Devon. Water will be impounded by Construction of small earth embankment and the object of the impounding works is (A) to divert flow in the Wotter Brook; (B) to create a settling pond (the capacity of the reservoir at overflow level will be 14,000 cubic metres). A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the Old School, Lee Moor, near Plympton, Devon, between 23rd June 1998 and 23rd July 1998. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should so so in writing to the Environment Agency, South-West Region (Cornwall Area), Sir John Moore House, Victoria Square, Bodmin, Cornwall PL31 1EB, before the end of the said period.
