Notice of application for consent for the purposes of Section 88

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 of the above Act, that applications have been made to the Environment Agency by Severn Trent Water Limited for consent to discharge rainfall dependent volumes of storm sewage to local watercourses from five storm sewage overflows in Southwell, Nottinghamshire.

  Should consents be granted for these storm overflows it would bring under formal control five existing discharges which are at present unconsented.   Any person who wishes to make representations about any of the applications should do so in writing to the Water Quality Consents Officer at the Agency’s offices at Trentside Offices, Scarrington Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 5FA, during the period 5th June 1998 to 17th July 1998, quoting Ref. WAV/LT/81115-9.   A copy of the applications may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours at the Agency’s offices at the above address and at Olton Court, 10 Warwick Road, Olton, Solihull, West Midlands B92 7HX.
