Borough of Congleton (Brookhouse Road and Brook Court, Sandbach) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, 13th May 1998, Congleton Borough Council, pursuant to arrangements with Cheshire County Council, made an Order under sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3) and 4(2) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, the effects of which are as follows:   1. To prohibit waiting of vehicles at any time on the length and sides of road specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice.   2. To prohibit waiting of vehicles between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday to Saturday inclusive on the lengths of road specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.   The Order comes into force on Monday, 18th May 1998, and a copy of the Order, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined during normal office hours at the Information Office, “Westfields”, Middlewich Road, Sandbach.   If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, or on grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any Instrument made under it have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from the date upon which the Order was made (ie 13th May 1998) apply to the High Court for this purpose.
