Notice of application for a licence to abstract water

Take notice that John William Maurice Carpmael, of Sturts Farm, Neen Sollars, Worcestershire, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from the Mill Brook, at National Grid Reference SO 6546 7134, at Sturts Farm.   The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 11 cubic metres per hour; 110 cubic metres per day; 8,500 cubic metres per year, between January and December each year. The water will be used for initial fill and topping up conservation pool.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Sturts Farm, between 1st May and 29th May 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Hafren House, Welshpool Road, Shrewsbury, Shropshire SY3 8BB, before the end of the said period.
