The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, hereby gives notice that he has decided not to make an Order under sections 247 and 253 of the above Act to authorise the diversion of the part of Footpath No. 26 which runs 20 metres to the north-west of the property known as “Bill-A-Rose Bungalow”, Stock Terrace, south-eastwards for a distance of 79 metres to the junction of Stock Chase and Barnfield Cottages to follow a parallel route for 4 metres to the south of the existing path, as referred to in the notice published on 24 April 1997.
