Notice of Proposed Modifications for the Berwick-upon-Tweed Borough Local Plan

The Inspector’s Report, the Council’s Statement of Decisions and the Schedule of Proposed Modifications (other than modifications which the Council are satisfied will not materially affect the content of the plan), are available for inspection, free of charge, at the following locations during normal opening hours:

  Berwick-upon-Tweed Borough Council, Council Offices, Wallace Green, Berwick-upon-Tweed, and the Northumberland County Council Libraries in the Borough at Berwick-upon-Tweed, Wooler and Seahouses.

  Objections to and statements of support, in respect of the Proposed Modifications should be sent in writing to E. Paterson, Borough Planning Officer, Berwick-upon-Tweed Borough Council, Council Offices, Wallace Green, Berwick-upon-Tweed TD15 1ED, no later than Wednesday, 20th May 1998.
  Objections and statements of support should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made, and may be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the plan proposals.

Notice of intention to adopt proposals

If no objections are received during the period given for making objections, Berwick-upon-Tweed Borough Council intend to adopt the proposals on the expiry of that period.
