TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 249(6) of the above Act entitled “The Reinstatement of Vehicular Rights (County Durham) (No. 6) Order 1998” to provide for the reinstatement of any right which persons may have had to use vehicles on a length of unnamed highway to the rear of Pearson Street, Spennymoor, in the County of Durham.
  Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Secretary of State at the offices of the Director of Planning, Environment and Transport, Government Office for the North East, Wellbar House, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4TD, (quoting GO-NE/97/5053/35/10) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Sedgefield Borough Council, Council Offices, Spennymoor, County Durham.
  Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 30th March 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
