KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA BOROUGH COUNCIL
The Kensington and Chelsea (Prescribed Routes) (No. 1) Traffic Order 1997
Talbot Road: Contra Flow Cycle Lane

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea made on 23rd January 1998, the above mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Taraffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, and of all other powers thereunto enabling.
  The effect of the Order will be to bring into force the westbound Contra-Flow Cycle Lane on the south side of Talbot Road, between Ledbury Road and Powis Square.
  A copy of the Order which will come into operation on 2nd March 1998, and all other relevant documents (including a relevant plan showing the proposed cycle lane), may be inspected at:

  (a) Local Studies Desk, Central Reference Library, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX between the hours of 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Wednesdays and between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturdays inclusive.
  (b) Planning Information Office, Room 325, The Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX, between the hours 9.15 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. on Mondays to Thursdays and between the hours 9.15 a.m. and 4.15 p.m. on Fridays inclusive.

  Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
