GREENWICH COUNCIL
The Greeenwich (Prescribed Routes) (No.   ) Traffic Order 199

Notice is hereby given that the Greenwich Council, hereinafter called the Council, propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.   The general effect of the Order would be:   (a) to prohibit vehicles, proceeding in Shooters Hill Road, from turning right into Vanbrugh Terrace;   (b) to prohibit vehicles, proceeding in Vanbrugh Terrace, from turning right into Shooters Hill Road.   Persons having a query concerning the proposals should contact Development Services, 0181-854 888 Ext. 5462.   A copy of the proposed Order and a plan showing the location and effects of the Order, together with the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at Development Services, Greenwich Council, Peggy Middleton House, 50 Woolwich New Road, Woolwich SE18 6HQ.   A copy of the proposed Order and plans showing the locations can also be inspected at all local libraries.   Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order or make other representation should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or their representation to the Council’s Agents, TMO Services, 9 Osprey Close, Whitstable, Kent CT5 4DT, quoting Ref. LBG/1096, by 19th March 1998.   Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that in view of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, this Council would be legally obliged to make any comments received in response to this notice, open to public inspection.
