The A4 Trunk Road (Colnbrook Bypass, Tarmac Way and Stanwell Moor Road, Hillingdon) (Prohibition of U-Turns) Order 1998

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, hereby gives notice that on 23rd February 1998 he made the above-named Order, the effect of which is to prohibit:   (a) Both eastbound and westbound traffic on Colnbrook By-pass from making U-turns at the junction with Tarmac Way;   (b) Traffic entering Colnbrook By-pass from the southbound carriageway of Tarmac Way from making U-turns; and   (c) Traffic entering Colbrook By-pass from the northbound carriageway of Stanwell Moor Road from making U-turns.   A copy of the Order, and a plan which illustrates its effect have been deposited at the offices of the Highways Agency London Network Customer Services Division, Room 5-31, St. Christopher House, Southwark Street, London SE1 0TE, where they may be inspected between 9.30 a.m. and 4 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, excepting bank holidays, and at the West Drayton Public Library, Station Road, West Drayton, Middlesex, where they may be inspected during normal library opening hours until 8th April 1998.   Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that a requirement of that Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
