Notice of application to vary a licence to abstract water

Take notice that Gibbon Farms, of The Lodge, Great Bentley, Colchester, Essex, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 8/37/25/S/239 which authorises the abstraction of water from tributary of Flag Creek at National Grid Reference TM 094 193, at Thorrington Hall Farm, Thorrington, Colchester, Essex.   The variation being applied for is re-positioning of abstraction point from tributary to boreholes sunk into the sand and gravel between National Grid Refence TM 091 193 and 094 193. All other conditions of licence to remain unchanged.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at The Farm Office, The Lodge, Great Bentley, between 24th February 1998 and 23rd March 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Eastern Area, Cobham Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9JE, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
