Notice of application for consent in pursuance of section 1

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 section 1 of the Environment Act 1995, that an application has been made to the Environment Agency, by Greenalls Inn Partnership, to discharge a maximum of 7.5 cubic metres per day of Treated Sewage Effluent discharged from The Derby Arms Public House, Thornley by Wheatley, Longridge, Preston, Lancashire, to Higgin Brook, a tributary of the River Loud at National Grid Reference SD 6060 3929.   Any person wishing to make representations about the application should do so in writing to L. Heathcote, Authorisations Officer, The Environment Agency, PO Box 519, South Preston PR5 8GD, not later than 3rd April 1998, quoting Ref. C/16/P/98.   A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the Environment Agency, Lutra House, Dodd Way, Walton Summit, Bamber Bridge, Preston PR5 8BX, at all reasonable hours. L.
