Notice of application to vary a licence to abstract water

Take notice that C. M. Cock, of Holmwood Farm, Fingringhoe, Colchester, Essex, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 8/37/39/S/111, which authorises the abstraction of water from a tributary of the tidal River Colne at National Grid Reference TM 040 198, at Holmwood Farm, Fingringhoe, Colchester, Essex.   The variation being applied for is to remove the area of land specified on the licence to be irrigated.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Holmwood Farm, Fingringhoe, Colchester, Essex, between 20th February and 20th March 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Eastern Area, Cobham Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9JE, before the end of said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
