The Barnet (Church Cottages) (On-street Parking Places) (No. 1) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have made, on 18th February 1998, an Order under sections 45, 46, 49 and 51 and Parts I to III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.   The Barnet (Church Cottages) (On-street Parking Places) (No. 1) Order 1998, will create new designated parking places outside Nos. 1-5 Church Cottages, The Ridgeway, London N.W.7. The parking places will operate, Monday to Friday inclusive 8 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. and 2.45 p.m. to 4.15 p.m., Monday to Sunday inclusive, 6.30 p.m. to 8.45 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. any such day not being Christmas Day, Good Friday or a Bank Holiday, in the road specified in the Schedule to this notice. This will only be available to the residents who live at Nos. 1-5 Church Cottages, The Ridgeway, London N.W.7.   A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on Monday, 23rd February 1998, a plan of the relevant area and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order can be inspected between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (Bank Holidays excepted) inclusive until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published at:   (a) Traffic Section, Room 1006, Barnet House, 1255 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ; and   (b) The Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London NW4 4BG.   Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. Schedule

   The Ridgeway, London N.W.7., north-east side, from a point 2.5 metres south-east of the north-western flank wall of St. Pauls Church Hall south-eastwards for a distance of 12 metres.    The Ridgeway, London N.W.7., north-east side, from a point opposite the north-western flank wall of No. 4 Church Cottages, The Ridgeway south-eastwards for a distance of 18 metres. 19th February 1998.
