Notice of application for a licence to abstract water

Notice is hereby given that Vaughans Farms, of Kingsland, Leominster, Herefordshire, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a borehole, National Grid Reference SO 4525 5858, at Wall End Farm, Monkland, Leominster, Herefordshire. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates, 50 cubic metres per hour, 700 cubic metres per day, 22,000 cubic metres per year, between April and September each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at St. Mary’s Farm, Kingsland, during the period of one month following the publication of this notice.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Welsh Region, Hadnock Road, Monmouth, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
