The Bromley (Free Parking Place) (Disabled Persons) Order 1992 Amendment (No. 18) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley, hereinafter called “the Council” proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, and sections 64-81 inclusive and Schedules 6 and 7 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.   The general effect of the Order will be to add a further disabled person’s parking bay in Church Road, Bromley, making three. These three disabled persons’ parking bays will be limited to a four hour stay and operate on Monday to Saturday only, between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. On Monday to Saturday between 6.30 p.m. and 8 p.m. these bays will be used only by residents with parking permits.   A copy of the Order, of the Order being amended, of a plan and of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive in the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley.   Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environmental Services, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley BR1 3UH, quoting Ref. ADE(TP)/PAL/T100/163-18, not later than 13th March 1998.   Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this notice may be open to public inspection.
