Notice of application for a licence to abstract water

Take notice that Ennemix Construction Materials Limited, of East Street, Bingham, Nottingham, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a lagoon in the sand and gravels at National Grid Reference TF 9537 2881, at the Washpits, Kettlestone, Norfolk.   The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 144 cubic metres per hour, 1,590 cubic metres per day, 397,500 cubic metres per year. The water will be used for mineral washing.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Langor Bridge Quarry, Little Ryburgh, Fakenham, Norfolk, between 13th February and 13th March 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Eastern Area, Cobham Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9TE, before the end of the said period.
