The A13 Trunk Road (Old Roding Bridge Improvement) (Roding Bridge South Reconstruction) Compulsory Purchase Order (No.  ) 199 . Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by the above-mentioned Acts, has prepared a draft Compulsory Purchase Order, entitled as above, which he proposes to make, authorising him to purchase compulsorily the land and rights described in the Schedule to this notice for the purposes of:   (a) the demolition and reconstruction of the Roding Bridge South carrying the trunk road over the river Roding at East Ham in the London Borough of Newham and Barking in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham; and   (b) use by the Secretary of State in connection with such demolition and reconstruction.   Copies of the draft Compulsory Purchase Order and the plans referred to in it, have been deposited and may be inspected, free of charge, from 4th February 1998 to 25th February 1998, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday to Friday inclusive at the Highways Agency, Room 5/43, St. Christopher House, Southwark Street, London SE1 0TE; and at normal opening hours at the Council of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, Town Hall, Barking, Essex IG11 7LU, the Council of the London Borough of Newham, Technical Services, 25 Nelson Street, East Ham, London E6 4EH; Barking Library, Barking, Essex IG11 7NB and East Ham Library, High Street South, East Ham, London E6 4EL.   Any objection to the draft Compulsory Purchase Order must be made in writing and addressaed to the Secretary of State at the office of the Highways Agency, Room 5/43, St. Christopher House, Southwark Street, London SE1 0TE, not later than 25th February 1998, and should state the grounds of objection and quote the reference LRO 10/100/49/01. In preparation of an objection and the statement of grounds of objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection or representation may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it. The right to enter upon parts of the western bank of the River Roding, London E.6, for all purposes connected with the demolition, reconstruction and maintenance of the Roding Bridge South carrying the westbound carriageway of the A13 (Alfred’s Way) (1 and 2). The right to enter upon parts of the bed and banks of the River Roding, London E.6, for all purposes connected with the demolition, reconstruction and maintenance of the Roding Bridge South carrying the westbound carriageway of the A13 (Alfred’s Way) (3, 4 and 4A).

In the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham

The right to enter upon parts of the bed and banks of the River Roding, London E.6, for all purposes connected with the demolition, reconstruction and maintenance of the Roding Bridge South carrying the westbound carriageway of the A13 (Alfred’s Way) (4B, 5, 6, 7, 7A, 8 and 9). The right to enter upon part of eastern bank of the River Roding of the bed and banks of the River Roding, London E.6, for all purposes connected with the demolition, reconstruction and maintenance of the Roding Bridge carrying the westbound carriageway of the A13 (Alfred’s Way) (11, 12, 13). The right to enter upon part the River Roding access way land on the north of the A13 (Alfred’s Way) and on the east of the River Roding, London E.6 for all purposes connected with the demolition, reconstruction and maintenance of the Roding Bridge South (10). 28th January 1998.
