The Haringey (Bus Lane) (No.   ) Traffic Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).   The general effect of the Order will be to facilitate the speedier flow of buses in this heavily congested road being Seven Sisters Road N.15.   The above-mentioned requirements would not apply to anything done:   (a) with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; or   (b) in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the highway by or on behalf of the Metropolitan Police.   A copy of the proposed Order and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected between 9 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at:   (i) Legal Service, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road N22 4TR;   (ii) Hornsey Town Hall, The Broadway, Crouch End, Hornsey N.8.   Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Legal Service, telephone number 0181-862 3849.   Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of his or her objection and the grounds of objections to the Legal Service, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road N22 4TR, quoting Ref.
