The A406 Trunk Road (Hanger Lane and Ashbourne Road, Ealing) (Prohibition of Right Turn) Order 1998

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that on 4th February 1998, he made the above-named Order, the effect of which is to prohibit:

    (a) northbound traffic in Hanger Lane from turning right into Ashbourne Road; and
    (b) traffic entering Hanger Lane from Ashbourne Road from proceeding northwards.

  A copy of the Order and a plan which illustrates its provisions have been deposited at the offices of the Highways Agency, London Network and Customer Services Division, Room 5/31, St. Christopher House, Southwark Street, London SE1 0TE, where they may be inspected between 9.30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, excepting bank holidays, and at the offices of Brown and Root Ealing Technical Services (BRETS), 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing W5 2BP, where they may be inspected between 9.30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until 20th March 1998.
  Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that a requirement of that Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
