Notice of intention to apply for an Order under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 for the stopping-up of highway

Notice is hereby given that an application will be made to the Magistrates Court of the Petty Sessional Division of South West Surrey, sitting at Guildford Magistrates Court, Mary Road, Guildford, Surrey, on Friday, 20th March 1998, at 2.15 p.m., for an Order that the pieces of highway verge described in the Schedule hereto shall be stopped up on the grounds that the same are unnecessary as highway. The plan No. 28278/H3 referred to in the Schedule may be inspected, free of charge, at Farnham Library, Vernon House, 28 West Street, Farnham, Surrey.   The application to which this notice relates was originally intended to be made on 28th January 1998, but has been adjourned to the date and time stated above.
