The A428 Trunk Road (Bromham Road, Bedford/Biddenham) (40 m.p.h. Speed Limit) Order 1998

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 84(1) and (2) of, and paragraph 27(1) of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.   The effect of the Order is to impose a 40 m.p.h. speed limit on the A428 Trunk Road (Bromham Road) from a point 142 metres east of the centre of the Deep Spinney Roundabout, Biddenham, to a point 195 metres west of the centre of the junction with West Grove, Bedford.   A copy of the Order may be inspected until 30th March 1998, during normal opening hours at the offices of Bedford Borough Council, Town Hall, Bedford; at Bromham Library, Springfield Drive, Bromham; or obtained by application to the Highways Agency, Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL, quoting Ref. 504228/2/A428/02.
