Notice of application for a licence to abstract water

Take notice that R. D. Needs & Sons, of High Park Farm, Stourton, Stourbridge, West Midlands DY7 6QZ, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from River Stour, between National Grid References SO 8526 8220 and SO 8547 8122 at Hill Farm, Kinver, near Stourbridge, West Midlands DY7 6HX.   The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 63 cubic metres per hour, 630 cubic metres per day, 45,460 cubic metres per year, between April and October each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at High Park Farm, Stourton, near Stourbridge, West Midlands DY7 6QZ, between 5th February and 5th March 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency at Halfren House, Welshpool Road, Shelton, Shrewsbury SY3 8BB, before the end of the said period.
