Notice of application for a licence to abstract water
Take notice that Plymouth Hospitals’ NHS Trust, of Derriford Hospital, Plymouth PL6 8DH, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from two boreholes at National Grid References SX 4984 5941 and SX 4983 5941 at Derriford Hospital. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates 17.25 cubic metres per hour, 414 cubic metres per day and 151,110 cubic metres per year each year. The water will be used for domestic consumption within the hospital. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Estates Department, Derriford Hospital, between 2nd February and 2nd March 1998. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency-South West, Cornwall Area, Sir John Moore House, Victoria Square, Bodmin, Cornwall PL31 1EB, before the end of the said period.
