THE ELECTRICITY WORKS (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2000
Further to the Notice of an Application for Consent to construct and operate The Fauch Hill Wind Farm together with ancillary infrastructure on land at West Colzium and Crosswoodburn approximately 8 kilometres south east of West Calder (Central Grid Ref: (NGR) 307024, 658165) and for a direction under Section 57(2) of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 that planning permission for the development be deemed to be granted. The installed capacity of the proposed generating station would be up to 69MW comprising 23 turbines, 22 with a ground to blade tip height of up to 125 metres and 1 with a ground to blade tip height of up to 115 metres.
Notice is hereby given that additional information has been received by the Scottish Ministers on this application.
Copies of this information have been forwarded to West Lothian Council to be made available for public inspection by being placed on the Planning Register. Hardcopies may be inspected at West Lothian Council’s offices at their Development Planning and Environment department, County Buildings, High Street, Linlithgow, EH49 7EZ. Hardcopies may also be purchased upon request by writing to Shepherd and Wedderburn LLP, 1 Exchange Crescent, Conference Square, Edinburgh, EH3 8UL (requests should be clearly marked “For the attention of Colin Innes – Fauch Hill”). The price of such hardcopies (including postage) is £250, or £25 for a CD version.

Any subsequent additional information received by the Scottish Ministers before determination of the application, if considered to be materially relevant, will be similarly forwarded to West Lothian Council to be placed on the Planning Register and made available for public inspection. No further public notice, however, will be issued.
Any representations should be made in writing to the Scottish Government Directorate for Planning and Environmental Appeals, 4 The Courtyard, Callander Business Park, Falkirk, FK1 1XR or emailing to dpea@scotland.gsi.gov.uk, identifying the proposal and specifying grounds for objection or support, not later than 13th June 2013.
Representations should be dated and should clearly state the name (in block capitals) and full return email or postal address of those making representations. Only representations sent by email to the address stipulated will receive acknowledgement.
All previous representations received in relation to this development remain valid.
Fair Processing Notice
The Scottish Government Energy Consents and Deployment Unit process applications under the Electricity Act 1989. During the consultation process, letters of representation can be sent to Scottish Ministers in support of or objecting to these applications.
Where a Public Local Inquiry has been called, as in this case, copies of these representations will be sent to the Directorate of Planning and Environmental Appeals for the Reporter to consider during the Inquiry.
