APPOINTING WEDNESDAY 26TH DECEMBER 2012 AND MONDAY 27TH MAY 2013 AS BANK HOLIDAYS IN SCOTLAND.

Whereas, We consider it desirable that Wednesday the twenty-sixth day of December in the year 2012 and Monday the twenty-seventh day of May in the year 2013 should be bank holidays in Scotland:

Now, therefore, We, in pursuance of section 1(3) of the Banking and Financial Dealings Act 1971, do hereby appoint Wednesday the twenty-sixth day of December in the year 2012 and Monday the twenty-seventh day of May in the year 2013 to be bank holidays in Scotland.

Given at Our Court at Buckingham Palace this thirtieth day of May in the year of our Lord two thousand and twelve in the sixty-first year of Our Reign.
