Notice of Disclaimer of Bona Vacantia

Whereas Kirkim Investments Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Acts under Company number SC081451 was dissolved on 11 February 1994; And whereas in terms of section 654 of the Companies Act 1985 all property and rights whatsoever vested in or held on trust for a dissolved company immediately before its dissolution are deemed to be bona vacantia ; And whereas immediately before its dissolution the said Kirkim Investments Limited was heritably vest in land on the east side of Main Street, Kilmaurs comprising subjects to the rear of 19/25 Main Street, Kilmaurs and the solum of a path lying on or towards the north of (a) those subjects to the rear of 19/25 Main Street, Kilmaurs and (b) 19/25 Main Street, Kilmaurs, the said Kirkim Investments Limited’s title thereto being recorded in the Division of the General Register of Sasines for the County of Ayr on 23 March 1988, And whereas the dissolution of the said Kirkim Investments Limited came to my notice on 5 January 2009;

Now, therefore, I, Norman McFadyen, the Queen’s and Lord Treasurer’s Remembrancer, in pursuance of section 656 of the Companies Act 1985, do by this Notice disclaim the Crown’s whole right and title in and to the aforesaid heritable property.
