Proposed Development at: Breaker Hill, near Pinwherry, South Ayrshire
Planning Application Ref No: 09/00979/APP

Notice is hereby given that an Environmental Statement has been submitted to South Ayrshire Council by Breaker Hill Wind Ltd. relating to the above planning application in respect of erection of wind farm and associated works at Breaker Hill, near Pinwherry, submitted for the consideration of the Council in accordance with Regulation 8 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2008, on 4th September 2009.

A copy of the Environmental Statement and the associated planning application may be inspected, without payment of fee, in the register of planning applications kept by South Ayrshire Council on its website at www.south-ayrshire.gov.uk and at the offices of the Head of Planning and Enterprise, Burns House, Burns Statue Square, Ayr, KA7 1UT between the hours of 8.45am and 4.45pm from Mondays to Thursdays inclusive, and between the hours of 8.45am and 4.00pm on Fridays (excluding public holidays), during the period of 28 days beginning with the date of this notice. Copies are also available for inspection at Colmonell Community Centre, 37 Main St, Colmonell, KA26 0RY; Pinwherry Community Centre, Muck Road, Pinwherry; and Girvan Library, Montgomerie Street, Girvan, KA26 9HE, all during normal opening hours.

Copies of the environmental statement are available for purchase from Wind Prospect Developments Ltd, 13 Rutland Street, Edinburgh, EH1 2AE, Tel: 0131 225 8545, at a cost of £150.00 + VAT in paper format, or on DVD at a cost of £5.00.

Any person who wishes to make representations to South Ayrshire Council about the environmental statement should do so either by making a comment via the Council’s website, using the Planning Applications Online facility at www.south-ayrshire.gov.uk/planning emailing planning.development@south-ayrshire.gov.uk, or writing to the Head of Planning and Enterprise at the postal address noted above, within the 28 days period specified above .
