THE ELECTRICITY WORKS (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2000
Further to the notice of an application for consent to construct and operate a windfarm to the north of the Irvine Valley, and north east of Kilmarnock on Eaglesham Moor in East Ayrshire (National Grid Reference NS 5470 4480), and for a direction under Section 57(2) of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 that planning permission for the development be deemed to be granted. The installed capacity of the proposed generating station would be up to 141 MW comprising 39 turbines with a ground to blade tip height of up to 140 metres.
Notice is hereby given that additional information has been received by Scottish Ministers on this application. Copies of this information have been forwarded to East Ayrshire Council to be made available for public inspection by being placed on the planning register.

Any subsequent additional information received by Scottish Ministers before determination of the application, if considered to be materially relevant, will be similarly forwarded to East Ayrshire Council to be placed on the planning register and made available for public inspection, and will also be placed on the Scottish Government Energy Consents website, at

However, no further public notice will be issued.
Any representations should be made in writing to The Scottish Government, Energy Consents Unit, 2nd Floor, Meridian Court, 5 Cadogan Street, Glasgow, G2 6AT or emailed to energyconsents@scotland.gsi.gov.uk identifying the proposal and specifying grounds for objection or support, not later than 7th September 2009. Representations should be dated and should clearly state the name (in block capitals) and full return email or postal address of those making representation. All representations to the Scottish Government will be copied to the planning authority on request, and made available to the public on request, unless the individual requests otherwise.
