THE ELECTRICITY WORKS (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2000

Notice is hereby given that North British Windpower Limited (whose registration number is SC226523 and whose registered office is 50 Lothian Road, Festival Square, Edinburgh, EH3 9WJ) has applied to the Scottish Ministers for consent to construct and operate a wind farm at Fallago Rig (grid reference NT580 600) near Longformacus in the Scottish Borders and for a direction under Section 57(2) of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 that planning permission for the development be deemed to be granted. The installed capacity of the proposed generating station would be up to 144 MW comprising 41 turbines with a ground to blade tip height of 125 meters and 7 turbines with a ground to blade tip height of 110 meters.

North British Windpower Limited has now submitted to Scottish Ministers additional information in the form of a third addendum (including updated details of the grid connection proposals) to the Fallago Rig Environmental Statement.

Copies of the Addendum together with the Environmental Statement, previous addenda and the associated application, explaining the Company’s proposals in more detail, are available for inspection during normal office hours at:
