WATER ENVIRONMENT (CONTROLLED ACTIVITIES) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2005 (“THE REGULATIONS”)
Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Regulation 13 of the Regulations, that an application has been made to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) by Martin Foster for authorisation to carry out a controlled activity, namely:
1. Abstraction of 16934.4 m³ per day via series of abstractions between NGR NN 2180 1880 and NGR NN 2160 1720 from a Primary Intake on the Allt a Chaorachain catchment, Glen Fyne at NGR NN 2187 1671 from September 2011.
2. Abstraction of 14083.2 m³ per day via series of abstractions between NGR NN 2050 1620 and NGR NN 1900 1570 from a Secondary Intake on the Merk Burn catchment, Glen Fyne at NGR NN 2016 1546 from September 2011.
3. Impoundment of water within the Primary Intake pond on the Allt a Chaorachain catchment, Glen Fyne at NGR NN 2187 1671 from September 2011.
Any person affected or likely to be affected by, or having an interest in, the application may make representations about the application to SEPA in writing within 28 days beginning with the date of this advertisement, at the following address, quoting reference number CAR/L/1041720:

A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge, at the above address, between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday (except local and national holidays) or by prior arrangement at SEPA’s Lochgilphead office, telephone 01546 602876.
Written representations received within 28 days of this advertisement will be taken into consideration in determining the application. Any such representations will be placed in a public register unless the person making them requests that they should not be. Where such a request is made there will be included in the register a statement indicating that representations have been made which have been the subject of such a request.
