An application was originally submitted on 8th July 2008 for planning permission to undertake the above development and this was accompanied by an Environmental Statement. The Environmental Statement has now been further supported by an addendum “Clarification of Technical Points January 2009”. The Statement, addendum, plans and other relevant documents may be inspected during the hours of 8.45am to 4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am to 4.15pm on a Friday, excluding public holidays, at the Area Office of Environmental Services Municipal Buildings, Kildonan Street, Coatbridge, ML5 3LN, at Airdrie Library, Wellwynd, Airdrie ML7 4LH (open Monday to Saturday from 9.00am to 7.30pm (closes 12 noon Wednesday and 4.00pm Saturday), at Greengairs Community Centre, Greengairs Road, Greengairs, ML6 7SY (Contact 01236 830 595 for opening times), and at Plains Community Centre, Main Street, Plains, ML6 7JE (Contact 01236 843 010 for opening times).
The Environmental Statement may be purchased for £200 per hard copy or £10 per CD-ROM copy, and The Non-Technical Summary and Addendum are available free of charge. These are available from James Barr Ltd, 226 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 2LN.
Any person wishing to make representation about the application should submit their written comments within 28 days from the date of this notice to the Area Office.
