In a summary application presented to the Sheriff Court of South Strathclyde, Dumfries and Galloway at Ayr in terms of Section 6 of the above Act at the instance of Her Majesty’s Secretary of State for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform in respect of Albert William Linden, on 2 October 2008, the Sheriff ordered the following:

The Sheriff, on Applicant’s motion, grants a Disqualification Order under Section 6(1) of the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986 against Albert William Linden, currently residing at 3/2 Macintyre Hogg Building, 140 Ingram Street, Glasgow G1 2HE and orders that for a period of 8 years (a) he shall not be a director of a company, act as a receiver of a company’s property, or in any way, whether directly or indirectly, be concerned or take part in the promotion, formation or management of a company unless (in each case) he has the leave of the Court and (b) he shall not act as an insolvency practitioner; (2) directs that the making of said Order shall be registered by her Majesty’s Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform; (3) appoint intimation of the Order to be made once in The Edinburgh Gazette ; and finds the Defender liable to the Pursuer in the expenses of the action, as taxed; allows an account thereof to be given and remit same when lodged to the Auditor of Court to tax and to report, all of which notice is hereby given.
