THE M90/A90 TRUNK ROAD (SPITTALBURN TO SOUTHBANK) (REDETERMINATION OF MEANS OF EXERCISE OF PUBLIC RIGHT OF PASSAGE) ORDER 200

THE SCOTTISH MINISTERS hereby give notice that they propose to make the above Order under section 152(2) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 redetermining the means of exercise of the public right of passage over the footway described hereto:

That length of footway from a point 470 metres or thereby south of the C55/A932 junction, Forfar (at the Lochlands Caravan Park and Garden Centre, Forfar) along the western channel of the C55 carriageway, to a point in a generally west direction a distance of 60 metres or thereby, and then in a generally south direction to a point a distance of 1019 metres or thereby along the footway located on the east verge of the A90 Trunk Road.

This length of footway will be a shared facility for pedestrians and cyclists.

The title of the Order is The M90/A90 Trunk Road (Spittalburn to Southbank) (Redetermination of means of exercise of public right of passage) Order 200

A copy of the proposed Order and accompanying plan showing the footway over which the means of exercise of the public right of passage is to be redetermined, together with a statement of reasons for making the Order have been deposited at the offices of Transport Scotland, Buchanan House, 58 Port Dundas Road, Glasgow G4 0HF; BEAR Scotland Ltd, Perth Depot, BEAR House, Inveralmond Road, Inveralmond Industrial Estate, Perth; and Angus Council offices, County Buildings, Market Street, Forfar. These documents are available for inspection free of charge from 26th September 2008 until 14th November 2008.

Any person may object to the making of the Order by notice in writing to the Chief Road Engineer c/o Michael McCormack, Transport Scotland, 8th Floor, Buchanan House, 58 Port Dundas Road, Glasgow G4 0HF quoting reference MMC/M90/A90/RED. Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
