NOTICE OF THE ISSUE OF A SUBMARINE PIPELINE WORKS AUTHORISATION

The Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform hereby gives notice that he has decided to issue, and in consequence has issued, a works authorisation to be held by Statoil (U.K.) Limited whose address is Statoil House, 11a Regent Street, London, SW1Y 4ST for the construction of a temporary pipeline system between the Stena Spey Drilling Rig (Bressay well) and the BW Carmen moored vessel.

Except with the consent of the Secretary of State, the 198.2 millimetre production pipeline shall be used and to convey well fluids.

The pipeline may be used by the holder and with the holder's agreement, and with the consent of the Secretary of State, by other persons.

Statoil (U.K.) Limited have been appointed operator of the pipeline.
