Certified copies of the plan and of the resolution together with certified copies of the reports of all local inquiries held and of the council’s statements prepared following the consideration of such reports have been deposited at Planning and Infrastructure Reception, 8th Floor, St. Nicholas House, Broad Street, Aberdeen, AB10 1BW; at all the City’s public libraries; and at The Point, next to the main entrance of St. Nicholas House in Broad Street.

The deposited documents are available for inspection at these locations free of charge during normal opening hours. St. Nicholas House is open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm. The Point is open six days a week. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays it is open from 8:30am to 5:30pm. On Tuesdays it is open from 10:00am until 5:30pm. On Thursdays it is open from 8:30am until 6:30pm and on Saturdays it is open from 10:00am until 1:00pm. The particular opening hours of the City’s libraries vary but can be confirmed at each library.

These documents can all be viewed on the Council’s website at www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/aberdeenlocalplan

The plan became operative on 25 June 2008, but if any person aggrieved by the plan desires to question its validity on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997, or that any requirement of the said Part II or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the plan, he may, within six weeks from 4 July 2008, make an application to the Court of Session under section 238 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997.
