ROADS (SCOTLAND) ACT 1984
SOUTH LANARKSHIRE COUNCIL (GLASGOW ROAD, EAST KILBRIDE) (RE-DETERMINATION) ORDER 2006
Notice is hereby given that South Lanarkshire Council proposes to make an Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) and 152(2) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 for the re-determination of the road described in the Schedule below.
The title of the Order is “South Lanarkshire Council (Glasgow Road, East Kilbride) (Re-Determination) Order 2006”.
A copy of the proposed Order and of the accompanying plan showing the re-determination together with a statement of the reasons for making the Order are available for inspection during normal working hours Monday to Friday inclusive at the offices of:-

Any person wishing to object to the proposal should send details of the grounds for objections in writing to the Head of Roads and Transportation, Montrose House, 154 Montrose Crescent, Hamilton ML3 6LB, by 23 February 2007.

Road to be re-determined
The lay-by on the southbound A749 Glasgow Road from a point 222 metres north of the extended southwest kerbline of the southbound Nerston off slip northwards for a distance of 139 metres or thereby.
