NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A SUBMARINE PIPELINE WORKS AUTHORISATION

CNR International (UK) Limited hereby gives notice on behalf of itself and its Partners, in accordance with the provisions of Part I of Schedule 2 to the Petroleum Act 1998 that it has made an application to the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry for the grant of an authorisation for the construction and use of a system of pipelines between the existing Banff Field Production Centre (56 59 28.00 N; 01 18 58.00 E) and Kyle North Field (56 54 56.00 N; 01 13 24.00 E) and South Field (56 53 14.00 N; 01 14 01.00 E), in Block 29/2 of the North Sea. This project is to provide gas lift facilities to existing wells at Kyle North and Kyle South. The Pipeline Works include a 13.3 km 4 inch gas pipeline to be laid, trenched and buried, and the installation of three subsea manifold structures.

A map delineating the route of the proposed pipelines and providing certain further information may be inspected free of charge at the places listed in the Schedule to this notice from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on each weekday from the date that this notice is published until the date mentioned in the next paragraph of this notice.

Pursuant to a direction of the Secretary of State, representations with respect to the application may be made in writing and addressed to the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry at the Department of Trade and Industry, ERDU-LED, Atholl House, 86-88 Guild Street, Aberdeen AB11 6AR (marked FAO Mr Kevin Clarke, Offshore Pipeline Authorisations) not later than 19 January 2007 and should bear the reference “RDBC/001/00295C” and state the grounds upon which the representations are made.
