Appointment of Administrators

Notice is hereby given that on 31 October 2006 a Petition was presented to the Court of Session by John Charles Reid, Saltire Court, 20 Castle Terrace, Edinburgh, the administrator of Hugh Smith (Engineering) Limited (in administration), a company incorporated under the Companies Acts (with registered number SC246877) and having its registered office at c/o Deloitte & Touche LLP, Lomond House, 9 George Square, Glasgow (“the Company”), seeking inter alia an order that Brian William Milne, Lomond House, 9 George Square, Glasgow be appointed as administrator of the Company jointly with John Charles Reid, each joint administrator to have power to exercise their functions and powers independently of the other; and that the period of appointment of John Charles Reid as administrator of the Company be extended until 27 November 2007. In that Petition, Lord Clarke made an order dated 3 November 2006 that any party claiming an interest in the Petition, lodge Answers to it, if so advised, at the Office of Court, Court of Session, Parliament House, 2 Parliament Square, Edinburgh EH1 1RQ, within 8 days after intimation, advertisement and service of the Petition.
