THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 1999

The Council has received planning application (reference 06/00302/FULSU) accompanied by an Environmental Statement for the formation of a borrow pit to provide aggregates for the construction of Kilbraur wind farm on land north of Farlary, Golspie (grid reference 277050 906945). The applicants are Kilbraur Wind Energy Ltd., Findhorn House, Dochfour Business Centre, Dochgarroch, Inverness IV3 8GY.

Copies of the planning application and Environmental Statement can be inspected during normal office hours at the following locations:-

1. Area Planning and Building Standards Office, The Meadows, Dornoch

2. Rogart Post Office, Rogart, Sutherland

Copies of the Environmental Statement may be purchased from West Coast Energy Ltd., The Long Barn, Waen Farm, Nercwys Road, Mold, Flintshire, CH7 4EW (tel. 01352 757604) at a cost of £80.00 each. CD copies are available at a cost of £15.00 each.

The application is advertised under Section 34 of the above Act, as a potential departure from the provisions of the Development Plan, and as an application accompanied by an Environmental Statement.

Any person wishing to make representations about the planning application to The Highland Council should make them in writing to the Area Planning and Building Standards Manager, The Meadows, Dornoch, Sutherland, IV25 3SG within a period of 28 days beginning with the date of this notice.
