THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL (MOREDUN PARK GREEN AND MOREDUN PARK GROVE, EDINBURGH) (STOPPING UP) ORDER 2006 - PO/06/6

Notice is hereby given that on 25 July 2006 The City of Edinburgh Council made an Order under Section 207 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 (“the 1997 Act”) stopping up the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule hereto, being satisfied that it has become necessary to authorise the stopping up of the said lengths of roads in order to enable development to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted under Part III of the 1997 Act.

A copy of the Order and relevant plan showing the lengths of road to be stopped up have been deposited at The City of Edinburgh Council, City Development Department, 1 Cockburn Street, Edinburgh.

Those documents are available for inspection free of charge from 28 July 2006 till 25 August 2006 during the hours of 9.30 am and 3.30 pm Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

Any person may, within 28 days from 28 July 2006, make representations or object to the making of the Order by notice in writing, quoting reference PO/06/6, to The Council Solicitor’s Division, (Planning and Transportation), City Chambers, (Anchor Close), Edinburgh, EH1 1YJ. Representations and objections should state the name and address of the person by whom they are made, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.

1.  from a point at the junction of the north-east fence line of Gilmerton Road and the north-west fence line Ferniehill Road north-westwards along the fence lines to the apex of the north-east and north-west fence line of No. 493 Gilmerton Road, (marked A-B on the attached plan)

2.  then eastwards to the apex of the west and south building line of No 118 Moredun Park Gardens, (marked B-C on the attached plan)

3.  then eastwards along the south building line of 118 Moredun Park Gardens to the apex of the south and east building lines of 118 Moredun Park Gardens, (marked C-D on the attached plan)
