TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (SCOTLAND) ACT 1997

THE DIVERSION OF FOOTPATHS (SOUTH LANARKSHIRE COUNCIL - DEAD MAN’S LANE, LANARK) ORDER 2006

South Lanarkshire Council hereby give notice that they have made an Order under 208 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 authorising the diversion of a length of footpath, located on the eastern boundary of the subjects 55 and 56 Albany Drive, linking an existing footpath that leads from Hyndford Road to Kirklands Road emerging at the rear of the subjects 25 Bonnington Avenue, all in Lanark; the length of the footpath to be diverted measuring 131 metres or thereby and shown hatched solid on the plan annexed and executed as relative to the above Order. The council are about to submit the Order for confirmation or to confirm it as an unopposed Order. The Order will not take effect unless confirmed.

Copies of the Order and relevant plan specifying the length of footpath to be diverted may be inspected free of charge by any person at the following Offices during the period commencing 20 July 2006 and ending 18 August 2006.

Any objections to or representations against the Order must be made in writing, stating the name of the Order and the grounds for objection thereto and sent to Executive Director, Enterprise Resources, South Lanarkshire Council, Montrose House,154 Montrose Crescent, Hamilton by 18 August 2006.
