THE WATER (SCOTLAND) ACT 1980 – SECTION 17(1)

NOTICE OF THE MAKING OF THE SCOTTISH WATER (TOMICH BOREHOLES) WATER ORDER 2006

In accordance with Schedule 1 to the Water (Scotland) Act 1980, notice is hereby given that on 16 June 2006, the Scottish Ministers made the above Order. Subject to the provisions of the Order, Scottish Water is authorised to take from the Tomich Boreholes (Ordnance Survey National Grid Reference NH 3105 2823 and NH 3105 2824) up to 240 cubic metres of water a day for the public water supply. A copy of the Order and the associated deposited plan is available at the address below, at the Head Office of Scottish Water, Castle House, 6 Castle Drive, Carnegie Campus, Dunfermline, Fife KY11 8GG and at Scottish Water’s Inverness Area Office, 31 Henderson Drive, Longman North, Inverness IV1 1TR.
