A PROCLAMATION

APPOINTING TUESDAY 26TH DECEMBER 2006, AND MONDAY 28TH MAY 2007, AS BANK HOLIDAYS IN SCOTLAND.

Whereas We consider it desirable that Tuesday, the twenty-sixth day of December in the year 2006 and Monday, the twenty eighth day of May in the year 2007 should be bank holidays in Scotland:

Now, therefore, We, in pursuance of section 1(3) of the Banking and Financial Dealings Act 1971, do hereby appoint Tuesday, the twenty-sixth day of December in the year 2006 and Monday, the twenty eighth day of May in the year 2007 to be bank holidays in Scotland.

Given at Our Court at Buckingham Palace this seventh day of June in the year of our Lord two thousand and six in the fifty-fifth year of Our Reign.
