NOTICE OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL ADDENDUM ACCOMPANYING THE APPLICATION FOR CONSENT TO CONSTRUCT AND OPERATE A WIND FARM AT LIMMER HILL, SOUTH LANARKSHIRE

Notice is hereby given that Limmer Hill Wind Energy Limited who has applied under Section 36 of the Electricity Act, 1989 for the consent of the Scottish Ministers to construct and operate a wind farm at Limmer Hill, South Lanarkshire, has submitted supplementary information to the Scottish Ministers which forms an Environmental Addendum.

Copies of the Environmental Addendum, which comprises 2 volumes, is available for inspection during normal office or opening hours at the following locations:

Abington Post Office

Biggar Municipal Hall

Lanark Library

Rigside Hall

Roberton Hall

St. Bride’s Hall, Douglas

The Environmental Addendum and Environmental Statement can also be viewed at the Scottish Executive Library at Saughton House, Broomhouse Drive, Edinburgh, EH11 3XD and South Lanarkshire Council, Council Offices, South Vennel, Lanark, ML11 7JT.

Copies of the Section 36 Application and Environmental Statement may be obtained from the Applicant’s agent, West Coast Energy at Tower Mains Studios, 18g Liberton Brae, Edinburgh, EH16 6AE, tel: 0131 672 1888 or mail@westcoastenergy.co.uk. A hard copy of the Environmental Addendum is available for £100 and CD copies of the Environmental Addendum are available free of charge on request.

Any person wishing to make representations should do so in writing to the Scottish Executive, Enterprise, Transport and Lifelong Learning Department, Energy Consents Unit, Meridian Court, 5 Cadogan Street, Glasgow, G2 6AT (e-mail: energyconsents@scotland.gsi.gov.uk) on or before Friday 2nd June, 2006 and should state the grounds on which it is made. All representations received will be published in full on the Scottish Executive website at the end of this consultation period unless the individual requests otherwise. They will also be copied to South Lanarkshire Council.
