GLASGOW AND THE CLYDE VALLEY JOINT STRUCTURE PLAN 2000

The Glasgow and the Clyde Valley Structure Plan Joint Committee in exercise of the functions delegated to it under, inter alia, Section 9 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 and as authorised by East Dunbartonshire Council, East Renfrewshire Council, Glasgow City Council, Inverclyde Council, North Lanarkshire Council, Renfrewshire Council, South Lanarkshire Council and West Dunbartonshire Council, submitted the Third Alteration 2006 to the Glasgow and the Clyde Valley Joint Structure Plan 2000 and the related SEA Environmental Report 2006 to the Scottish Ministers on 28th April 2006 for their approval.

Certified copies of the Third Alteration 2006 to the 2000 Joint Structure Plan, the related SEA Environmental Report, the report on the matters to be kept under review and of the statement mentioned in Sections 9(3) and 9(4) respectively of the said Act have been deposited at the offices of East Dunbartonshire Council at The Triangle, Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs; East Renfrewshire Council at the Council Headquarters, Eastwood Park, Rouken Glen Road, Giffnock, and the Council Offices, 211 Main Street, Barrhead; Glasgow City Council at 229 George Street, Glasgow; Inverclyde Council at Cathcart House, 6 Cathcart Square, Greenock; North Lanarkshire Council at Fleming House, 2 Tryst Road, Cumbernauld, Municipal Buildings, Kildonan Street, Coatbridge and 303 Brandon Street, Motherwell; Renfrewshire Council at the Council Headquarters, North Building, Cotton Street, Paisley; South Lanarkshire Council at the Council Offices, Montrose House, 154 Montrose Crescent, Hamilton and West Dunbartonshire Council at Council Offices, Garshake Road, Dumbarton and Council Offices, Rosebery Place, Clydebank.

The deposited documents are available for inspection free of charge during normal office hours and can be viewed on the Joint Committee’s web site: www.gcvcore.gov.uk.

Objections to the Third Alteration 2006 to the Glasgow and the Clyde Valley Joint Structure Plan 2000 should be sent in writing to the Secretary, the Scottish Executive Development Department, Victoria Quay, Edinburgh, EH6 6QQ before Friday, 9th June, 2006. Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. Forms for making objections are obtainable at those offices where the documents have been deposited. A person making objections may request to be notified of the decision on the Third Alteration 2006 to the Glasgow and the Clyde Valley Joint Structure Plan 2000.
