NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SECTION 34

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with section 36(1)(a) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (As Amended), that applications have been made to SEPA by Scottish Water for consent to discharge the following:

WPC/N/73202

Screened storm sewage effluent to Loch Carron at NGR NG 9030 3955, from Main Street West Waste Water Pumping Station, Main Street, Lochcarron.

WPC/N/73203

Screened storm sewage effluent to Loch Carron at NGR NG 8940 3836 from Slumbay Waste Water Pumping Station, Dalachliddich, Lochcarron.

WPC/N/73204

Screened storm sewage effluent to Loch Carron at NGR 8887 3809 from Portmartin Waste Water Pumping Station, Wester Slumbay, Lochcarron.

WPC/N/73206

Screened storm sewage effluent to Loch Carron at NGR 9102 4004 from Main Street East Waste Water Pumping Station, Main Street, Lochcarron.

Any person who wishes to make representations about these applications should do so in writing to The Senior Registry Officer, SEPA, Graesser House, Fodderty Way, Dingwall IV15 9XB, not later than 3 January 2006 quoting reference WPC/N/73202, WPC/N/73203, WPC/N/73204 or WPC/N/73206.

Copies of the applications may be inspected, free of charge, at the above address between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (except local and national holidays) and at The Post Office, Lochcarron, Strathcarron, Ross-shire IV54 8YB.
