TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (SCOTLAND) ACT 1997

NORTH LANARKSHIRE COUNCIL (WHITERIGG ROAD AND PART OF STANRIGG ROAD, NEAR PLAINS, AIRDRIE) STOPPING UP ORDER 2005

North Lanarkshire Council hereby give notice that the above Order made under Section 207 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 authorising the stopping up of Whiterigg Road and part of Stanrigg Road, near Plains, Airdrie has now been confirmed as an unopposed Order.

The said roads all as shown shaded red on the plan annexed and subscribed as relative to the said Order will be stopped up and closed to all traffic (including pedestrian traffic) to enable development to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted under Part III of the said Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997.

A copy of the Order, as confirmed, and relevant plan may be inspected at the offices of the Director of Planning and Environment (Central Area Office), North Lanarkshire Council, Kildonan Street, Coatbridge by any person free of charge during normal office hours.
