CROFTING COMMUNITY RIGHT TO BUY

APPLICATION FROM URRAS OIGHREACHD GHABHSAINN

The Scottish Ministers hereby give notice that an application from Urras Oighreachd Ghabhsainn under Section 73 of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 has been received.

A copy of the application may be inspected at the Crofters Commission, Castle Wynd, Inverness IV2 3EQ (Telephone No 01463-663450) and at the SEERAD Stornoway Area Office, 10 Keith Street PA87 2OG (Telephone No 01851 702392). The Crofters Commission is required under Section 94 of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 to record applications in what is known as a Register of Crofting Community Right to Buy. A copy of the application can be obtained, free of charge, from the Scottish Executive Environment and Rural Affairs Department, Mail Point 1-D, Pentland House, 47 Robb’s Loan, Edinburgh EH14 1TY either in writing or by telephoning Dorothy Parr on 0131-244 6209 during normal business hours.

Any person may comment on the application by writing to Dorothy Parr, the Scottish Executive Environment and Rural Affairs Department, Mail Point 1-D, Pentland House, 47 Robb’s Loan, Edinburgh EH14 1TY. Comments must be with the Department no later than midnight on 15 August 2005.
